The NCLEX tests are required to receive professional licensure in the field of nursing and are created by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). The NCLEX means National Council Licensure Examination.

Course Description
This three day-class review course is intended graduates of RN programs, as well as previous graduates who may have been unsuccessful in their previous attempts at passing the NCLEX-RN.

Using the NCLEX-RN test plan as a guide, this course highlights the major content from the medical-surgical, pediatric, psychiatric and women’s health areas that are tested on the NCLEX-RN exam. In addition, you will receive diagnostic test results that will help you prioritize your areas of study.

The participant does not just review nursing content, rather, is taught how to take the boards: how to prepare psychologically, and how to answer the priority questions which make up the majority of “today’s boards” through actual question and answer practice sessions.

• Endocrine Disorders & Medications
• Neurological Assessment & Disturbances
• Growth and Development Across the Lifespan
• Pediatric Assessment & Disturbances
• Psychosocial Assessment and Disorders

Course Instructor
Taught by an educator with an RN, BSN, MHA, the facilitator energizes and motivates the class. She has a variety of experience teaching both nursing students and experienced nurses in the acute care setting.
